One of the highlights of 2014 is set to be the ALUMINIUM 2014 - to be held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 7 to 9 October. Read the news to find out how to get a free ticket.

The exhibition just keeps growing and growing. More than 950 exhibitors are expected for the 10th edition of ALUMINIUM – two years ago, that number was 907 companies from 51 countries. Already, Halls 9 to 12 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre are almost fully booked. Hall 13 will have a higher stand density and house both the "Surface" and the "Metalworking and Processing" segments under a single roof.

ALUMINIUM also creates focal points and provides special points of interest for visitors with its theme pavilions. The central point of contact on the topic of surface treatment will be the Competence Centre Surface Technology in Hall 13. Twenty-five exhibitors will show their technologies for coating, polishing, varnishing, anodising of aluminium, corrosion protection, measurement, testing and analysing.

"Everything from the same mould" is the motto for the Foundry Pavilion in Hall 10 where exhibitors from the fields of sand, gravity and pressure die casting are presented. Hall 9 is where the aluminium-producing industry is presented: The Primary Pavilion here particularly focuses on technologies for alumina and aluminium manufacturing. The joint stand in Hall 14, Welding and Joining Pavilion, is dedicated to metal working and processing as well as the welding and joining of aluminium. Sustainability, climate protection and resource efficiency are at the focus of the new Recycling Pavilion. This joint stand in Hall 9 targets providers and players in the aluminium-recycling industry.

As the institutional patron of the trade fair, the GDA will once again organise the ALUMINIUM 2014 Conference that accompanies the trade fair. The programme features a total of five sessions, on a range of subjects including, among others, automotive and markets. The conference language is English.

COMPOSITES EUROPE will again be held at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre at the same dates as ALUMINIUM: More than 400 exhibitors will present trends in the field of reinforced plastics.
