The new VACUDEST XXL from H2O GmbH completes the existing VACUDEST-series in the upper performance range.

The system is almost 7.6 meters long, 6 meters high and is able to process amazing 30,000 cubic meters wastewater per year. The new VACUDEST XXL from H2O GmbH completes the existing VACUDEST-series in the upper performance range: The technology-giant is capable to process up to 5,000 liters wastewater per hour. The company will present the new vacuum distillation system at the ZVO Surface Days in Neuss (Germany), the IZB Wolfsburg (Germany) and the Pollutec in Lyon.

"The new XXL is the consequence of the increasing demands of our customers", explains Matthias Fickenscher, one of the managing partners of H2O GmbH. "The high treatment performance of the XXL is perfectly suitable for productions with a high volume of wastewater - as for example in the automotive Industry."

However, not only size and performance of the installation makes it interesting for productions, but also the patented innovations of the in-house application center for zero liquid discharge. "For example with the Clearcat technology best reductions of CSB and oil values may be achieved. The quality of the distillate is so good, that the treated water may be re-used in the production process. With this the zero liquid discharge is reached. This does not only save valuable freshwater resources, but also disposal costs up to 99 percent. Therefore the investment of a VACUDEST vacuum distillation system may pay off mostly after two years only", as to the managing partner.

The new VACUDEST will be available in two versions: the XXL 24,000, which treats 24,000 cubic meters wastewater per year. The bigger sister, the XXL 30,000, performs 30,000 cubic meters distillate per year. The first one of these new installations is expected to be finished beginning of 2015 in the company's residence Baden Steinen.
