Advanced Manufacturing Madrid Officially Granted International Trade Fair Status

Date: 13/02/2026

The Secretary of State for Trade awards international recognition to the event, cementing Madrid's position as Southern Europe’s premier industrial hub.

Advanced Manufacturing Madrid has achieved a major strategic milestone. The event, organised by Easyfairs, has been officially designated as an international trade fair by the Spanish Secretary of State for Trade. This certification validates the event's growing international footprint and its vital role within the global advanced manufacturing ecosystem.

Strategic impacts of the recognition:

  • Global Promotion: The fair will now be promoted via Spain’s network of Economic and Commercial Offices worldwide.
  • Tariff Exemptions: Non-EU exhibitors will benefit from temporary duty-free imports for their display products.
  • Institutional Support: Inclusion in the State’s Official Calendar enables eligibility for specific government subsidies and grants.

Building on the success of its last edition—which featured 151 international exhibitors from 19 countries—Oscar Barranco, Managing Director of Easyfairs Iberia, noted that this official status is a "key milestone" in making the fair a mandatory meeting point for the global industry.

The 2026 edition of Advanced Manufacturing Madrid is scheduled for 4th – 5th November at IFEMA Madrid, showcasing the latest breakthroughs in robotics, additive manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
