The event will take place on 25-26 May 2027 in Athens (Greece), bringing together maritime professionals to discuss environmental regulations, alternative fuels, port operations and emerging technologies.

Organised by Marensia Group, the Greek Maritime Forum 2027 is expected to welcome more than 800 attendees, 60 speakers and 50 exhibitors. The two-day programme will feature 12 panel discussions on the challenges and opportunities shaping the global shipping industry.

Sustainability and decarbonisation will be central themes. Sessions including ‘Decarbonization Rules & Reality’, ‘The Alternative Fuels Reality Check’ and ‘Decarbonizing Ports & Harbors’ will examine the practical implications of environmental regulations, the adoption of alternative fuels and efforts to reduce the environmental impact of maritime operations.

The programme will also explore digital transformation, with discussions on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and connected fleet operations. Dedicated sessions will address crew wellbeing and the skills required by the maritime workforce as technologies and operating requirements evolve.

Alongside the conference, an exhibition will showcase maritime technologies, products and services. Networking sessions and a cocktail reception will provide opportunities for shipowners, ship managers, suppliers and technology companies to exchange expertise and establish business contacts.
