International Trade Shows Strengthen VULKAN INOX’s Market Position

Date: 09/06/2026

For the Hattingen, Germany-based company VULKAN INOX, the first months of 2026 were all about international trade fairs and personal customer interactions. With a strong presence at several major industry events worldwide, the company was able to further solidify its position as a specialist and market leader in stainless steel abrasives.

In April, VULKAN INOX was represented at three international trade shows simultaneously: in Germany at PaintExpo 2026, in Turkey at Marble Izmir represented by its long-standing partner FETAS, and in Mexico at Die Casting Expo Mexico. As early as March, the company showcased its offerings at RPA France, Global Industrie Paris, and the AMPP Annual Conference + Expo in Houston, USA.

All events were very well attended and provided an ideal setting for professional exchange. The experts from VULKAN INOX held numerous discussions with customers, prospective clients, and partners from a wide range of industrial sectors. Despite the diverse target audiences, the same topic was central to all events: perfect surface treatment using high-quality stainless-steel abrasives.

During in-depth technical discussions, new applications were explored, customised solutions for current challenges were developed, and existing partnerships were further strengthened. At the same time, numerous new customer contacts have been established. It was particularly gratifying that several visitors immediately scheduled appointments for blasting tests and sample evaluations of their parts at the VULKAN INOX test center in Hattingen to personally verify the quality and performance of the blasting media.

A special highlight was the company’s appearance at PaintExpo 2026 in Karlsruhe (Germany). The world of industrial coating technology gathered there from 14-17 April for the international industry event. VULKAN INOX’s modern booth impressed with its clean design, strong brand presence, and high level of technical expertise. Over the course of all four days of the trade show, the booth became an important meeting place for the surface technology industry.

“This shows that our technical expertise is still in high demand. Personal interaction and the collaborative development of customized solutions with our customers continue to be our particular strength as the market leader in stainless steel abrasives,” has stated Christian Hoffmann, Head of Global Sales at VULKAN INOX.

“Our international presence at the most important trade shows clearly demonstrates how great the demand for high-quality and sustainable solutions in surface technology continues to be. Direct interaction with customers and partners worldwide is particularly valuable to us. This is precisely what gives rise to innovative approaches, long-term partnerships, and ultimately the solutions that offer our customers real added value,” has added Managing Director Marc Hidde.

Looking back, VULKAN INOX considers the first half of the 2026 trade show season a complete success. The numerous discussions, contacts made, and new projects confirm the company’s strong market position and bode well for the coming months.

VULKAN INOX will maintain its international presence throughout the remainder of the year. In June, a trade conference on stone treatment will take place in Turkey, represented by partner FETAS, as well as FEIMEC 2026 in Brazil, represented by DEUMEX de Brazil. Further appearances at trade shows and conferences in the fall are already in the works.
