IST held an exclusive conference for local agents and distributors to better prepare the regional team and celebrate the opening of its new branch IST Asia.
IST - Italia Sistemi Tecnologici S.p.A. has celebrated the opening ceremony of IST Asia, its new sales and service centre for Southeast Asia located in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). On the occasion, the new branch has also hosted a training conference aimed at its regional agents and distributors, with several European experts of the company flying in specifically to mark the event.
“This is a very proud moment for us as IST expands its reach to this populous geographical region in Asia. As well as being an economic powerhouse, Southeast Asia is one of the most culturally diverse regions of the world, and due to already having a considerable database of clients here, it was strategically important for us to open a local presence with a local sales and service team,” has stated Massimiliano Mingacci, Global Sales and Marketing Manager of IST.
Headquartered in Modena (Italy), IST is a specialist in designing, manufacturing and installing efficient and reliable solvent distillers and washing systems. The new subsidiary will allow the company to be closer to its Asian customers and provide direct technical assistance thanks to its highly skilled team.
“Our investment in IST Asia is proof of IST’s economic strength and commercial viability and marks a significant juncture for IST as a whole.
