Mipa has strengthened its presence in the European paints and coatings market with the acquisition of the Haering industrial division.
The international developer and producer of coatings systems Mipa has recently announced that on 1st January 2024 it acquired the industrial coatings division of Haering GmbH, based in Unterheinriet (Germany). The acquisition regards also the Haering Polska sp.zo.o (Poland) and Haering s.r.o. (Czech Republic) subsidiaries. However, the deal does not include the German facilities, the Haering brand and its product names. The operations related to the acquired products will be relocated to the several sites of Mipa during the first quarter, while the company will also gradually take over customer support operations in cooperation with the personnel of Haering.
Haering GmbH is a medium-sized family business founded in 1886 and now managed by the fourth generation. In addition to the industrial coatings sector, it is specialised in the production and sale of architectural paints and plasters.
