The Polycoater system developed by Singulus Technologies is designed as an inline plant, automating the process and reducing costs.

Singulus Technologies has recently announced that it has provided its Polycoater vacuum coating machine to Albéa, an Italian company operating in the beauty and personal care packaging industry which is renowned for its innovative approach and diverse product offering.

“In our quest for the optimal solution to enhance the quality of our products, we sought a machine and process that could consistently deliver high-quality surfaces. The versatility of Polycoater is exceptional, offering us the ability to refine a diverse range of products,” has stated Stefano Rotella, representing Albéa Cosmetics Italy Srl.

The Polycoater system is designed as an inline plant, functioning on the principles of vacuum cathode sputtering. So, it offers numerous inherent advantages: in comparison to traditional batch production, it automates the manufacturing process and significantly reduces production costs through the shortened cycle times. To ensure impeccable coating from all angles, components are also rotated within a vacuum chamber.
