AkzoNobel’s newly launched Interpon D2525 Trends Collection features three palettes – Desert Sands, Shimmering Mirage and Arabian Nights – offering striking aesthetics alongside exceptional durability, gloss retention, colour stability and UV resistance.
AkzoNobel has unveiled the Interpon D2525 Trends Collection, offering architects and designers a bold new palette of colours and finishes inspired by the unique architectural styles and natural beauty of the Middle East.
Building on the success of the Interpon D Futura powder coatings range – a favourite of the architectural sector for more than two decades – the new collection features three curated palettes: Desert Sands, Shimmering Mirage and Arabian Nights. The range draws on the rich tones of the desert and the region’s avant-garde architecture, blending seamlessly with both modern and traditional designs to bring fresh, lasting appeal to façades, windows and doors.
Desert Sands offers a warm mix of reds, soft greys, earthy shades and natural stone, reflecting the desert landscape while honouring traditional craftsmanship. Shimmering Mirage provides a serene combination of greys and whites with a metallic sheen for a touch of sophistication, while Arabian Nights evokes the colours of the desert at dusk, with earthy browns, deep coffee tones and dusky blues that root buildings in their natural surroundings.
The Trends Collection is supported by an Environmental Product Declaration
(EPD), confirming that its raw materials, production processes and transport have been comprehensively assessed for sustainability. This gives architects and designers the assurance that their choice of coating is environmentally responsible and contributes positively to a building’s environmental rating.
The superdurable Interpon D2525 range also offers outstanding long-term performance, including superior gloss retention, colour stability and UV resistance. With a 25-year warranty and certifications such as Qualicoat Class 2 and GSB Master, the Trends Collection has been designed to withstand challenging climates.
“At AkzoNobel, we believe that great design starts with the right finish. With the Trends Collection, we’ve created a range of colours and finishes that not only reflect the splendour of the Middle East but also offer architects and designers the freedom to bring their most innovative ideas to life. We are excited to continue supporting the architectural community with products that combine beauty, durability, and sustainability,” has stated Sanal Limoncuoğlu, Commercial Director Powder Coatings South & East Europe, Middle East and Africa at AkzoNobel Powder Coatings.
