The new DOW™ Paint Vision digital platform of Dow has been awarded for revolutionising the formulation processes in the coatings industry.
The specialty chemicals suppliers Dow has recently won the ICIS Innovation Award for the year 2023 in the Best Digital Innovation category thanks to its new digital platform. In addition, the company has also been nominated as a finalist in the Best Production Innovation category by presenting two technologies and products.
The ICIS Innovation Award recognises the companies that bring innovative and sustainable solutions as well as promoting the digital transformation. As a matter of fact, Dow won in the Best digital Innovation category by presenting DOW™ Paint Vision, a digital platform that offers several data-driven functionalities designed to simplify the formulation processes in the coatings industry. It also helps manufactures to facilitate the virtual paint formulation with a set of online tools – thus addressing the market trend sand reaching the sustainability requirements for a safer environment.
