The smart DXQanalyze software developed by Dürr has been recognised for its contribution to the digitalisation of industrial production.

Dürr has been ranked in the first place at the recent Industry 4.0 Innovation Award thanks to the contribution that its software products from the DXQanalyze family have provided to the digitalisation of the industrial production. The software collects available data and evaluates it as a basis for defining appropriate actions while using machine learning to predict possible problems and errors before they occur.

The Standardization Council Industry 4.0 and the German Electro and Digital Industry Association ZVEI, in partnership with VDE VERLAG GmbH, have chosen Dürr as the winner of the award, that is focused on products that made an important contribution to industrial production. Over several rounds of voting, the jury made up of members of the public and industry experts agreed that DXQanalyze satisfies the criteria.

“The need for digital industrial products is immense. More than just an acknowledgment of our work, we see this award as a motivation to keep advancing digitalization in painting and final assembly systems with our smart solutions,” stated Gerhard Alonso Garcia, the Vice President MES & Controls at Dürr.

The products from the DXQanalyze family, presented during the 12th open-house event of the company, collect all available data – such as process and workpiece information – and evaluate it in order to identify possible quality defects in workpieces as well as imminent wear on system components the point of origin. The data can be historically evaluated over long periods of time and be combined with machine learning to continuously produce precise predictions for the future.
