For the 14th consecutive year, PPG was listed on Fortune Magazine's 2022 World's Most Admired Companies® list.
PPG announced that it has been recognized for the 14th consecutive year by Fortune Magazine in the 2022 World's Most Admired Companies®
list. Specifically, PPG ranked 3rd in the chemical industry, improved its overall score, and increased its ranking in eight of nine measurable categories. The paint manufacturer also achieved top marks in innovation, quality of management, financial soundness, and quality of products/services.
The 2022 Most Admired Companies list was drawn from a group of 640 companies in 28 countries across 52 industries. To draw up the industry rankings, the companies were evaluated by industry peers who assigned a score from 1 to 10 on the traditional nine reputation factors: innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, long-term investment, financial soundness, quality of products and services, and global competitiveness.
