The 15th edition of InnoTrans 2026, International Trade Fair for Transport Technology, will take place from 22 to 25 September at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, bringing together innovators and industry experts to explore the latest concepts and smart solutions in mobility.

Berlin (Germany) is set to become the hub for the transport industry once again as InnoTrans approaches its 30th anniversary in 2026. Even a year before opening, InnoTrans is in high demand. The display area, spanning 200,000 m2, is fully booked, with particular interest in the Railway Infrastructure segment. The AI Mobility Lab, which debuted at InnoTrans 2024, is also attracting significant attention.

“In 2026, this special exhibition is again presenting companies and their innovations in the fields of AI, robotics, cybersecurity and data protection for transport systems in a dedicated hall. The lab will be complemented by a specialist stage programme and guided AI tours, enabling visitors to explore AI-based solutions across all segments of the fair,” have confirmed the organisers.

The proportion of international exhibitors is growing. More than 200 first-time and new exhibitors are confirmed for 2026, particularly from Europe, China, and India. Alongside Germany’s national railway operator Deutsche Bahn, major international transport companies will participate, including China Railway, RTA (UAE), Saudi Arabia Railways, the Ministry of Transport from Qatar, TCDD (Turkey), Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, ÖBB (Austria), PKP (Poland), and ONCF (Morocco).

International associations will also showcase the economic strength of their countries’ rail industries, with participants including ACRI (Czech Republic), Swissrail, MAFEX (Spain), PFP (Portugal), RIA (UK), ARA (Australia), JORSA (Japan) and KORSIA (Korea). Combined national stands will feature Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Denmark, France, Belgium, Finland, Brazil, China, and Japan.

The InnoTrans Convention remains the platform for expert discussions on current and future mobility topics. Central to the event are the Dialog Forums, held daily at palais.Berlin, organised by the German Railway Industry Association (VDB), the German Transport Forum (DVF), UNIFE, ZVEI, and the Association of German Transport Companies (VDV).

Specialist forums cover a range of topics, including the International Design Forum (IDZ), International Bus Forum (DVF), International Tunnel Forum (STUVA), DB Innovation Forum, and the Public Transport Forum (ETC), offering visitors inspirational speakers and in-depth discussions.

The Mobility Cleaning Circle, a joint platform with CMS Berlin, returns to the supporting programme, bringing together representatives from transport and cleaning industries. The Railway Influencer Festival enters its second year, allowing influencers and bloggers from across the globe to network in a festival-like atmosphere.

“A jury will present the Railway Influencer Award in four categories. In addition to the Best InnoTrans Video, Best Brand Video and Best Mobility Channel, there is a new category for the Best Urban Mobility Video, which honours authentic travel stories and experiences with public transport,” have added the organisers.

The InnoTrans Campus connects companies with young professionals, while the RecruitingLAB provides a dedicated space for this purpose. The Jobwall displays exhibitors’ vacancies both digitally on InnoTrans Plus and physically in the hall. The Talent Stage allows exhibitors to present short company presentations. Following the success of the online format in 2025, the Eurailpress Career Boost returns live, offering job seekers 90-second pitches to showcase their skills.
