Jeff Jirak Appointed as New Director of AkzoNobel’s Powder Coatings Business

AkzoNobel has appointed Jeff Jirak as the new director of the Powder Coatings business.

Jeff Jirak has been appointed by AkzoNobel as the new director of the Powder Coatings business. He succeeds Daniela Vlad, who is now director of AkzoNobel's Industrial Coatings business.

Jirak will lead the global strategic direction of AkzoNobel's innovative powder coatings portfolio across a broad range of end markets, including coatings for architecture, automotive, industry, general trade coaters and functional.

Jeff has more than 30 years of experience in the performance materials and specialty chemicals industry and previously held executive positions at DuPont, Chemours and Nouryon. For the past three years he has served as Chief Commercial Officer at Valtris Specialty Chemicals.

He will apply this experience to help drive innovation, sustainability and business excellence in his new role.
