TotalEnergies UK has recently announced that it will take part in the 2022 edition of Surfex. The company will present its new generation of solvents for the surface coatings industry and hold the seminar “Choosing your way to sustainability”.

The seminar will be led by Christophe Hein, the Market Manager of TotalEnergies Fluids, who will explain how to assess and choose the best options from a wide range of bio-based solvents and plasticizers. The speech will take into consideration the research and development phase underpinning such products as well as the life cycle assessments and the certifications that support traceability and sustainability.

TotalEnergies will also showcase its BioLife range, biodegradable products derived from 100% certified bio-based feedstock. These solutions are effective in extreme temperatures, with a pour point down to -80° C and a flash point up to 150° C.

“The exhibition’s mission of helping the industry keep pace with technological innovation is more important than ever with businesses focused on new ways to improve performance, environmental outcomes and worker safety. We are looking forward to the opportunity to discuss the advantages our products and solutions can provide,” stated Emmanuel Ehenemba, the technical manager for the special fluids division at TotalEnergies UK. “We are particularly pleased to be joined by Dr Christophe Hein, who joined TotalEnergies from aerospace agency ONERA to add to the depth of technical chemical expertise we are able to draw on for the benefit of our customers. He will be leading a seminar to help Surfex attendees navigate the increasingly complex market of sustainable solutions on offer and make the right choices for their business.”

Surfex 2022 will take place in Coventry (United Kingdom) from 7th to 8th June. TotalEnergies will be in stand 230.
