The idea of entering the masking systems market was born in 1994, when the brand Euromask® was created after one year of operations as retailers in Italy of American's products. In the early years, growth was so fast that, in 1999, Finishing Group Srl was founded, operating as a Euromask® brand retailer. In 2003, the company opens its own production department in order to reach the aim of total flexibility, both for its products and in order to serve better its customers. Moreover, the present Italian headquarter, based in Solaro (Milan, Italy), made possible to increase the stock supply thanks to an 800 sqm warehouse. That's how Euromask® reached another important purpose: Quick delivery times and readiness improved. Thanks to the huge stock availability, Euromask® can fulfill the 85% of orders within 24/48 hours.

The Italian production site can also rely on an efficient production department that ensures an immediate response to the possible stock shortage, with high quality standards guaranteed by the ISO 9001 certification obtained in 2007. Euromask®'s catalogue offers more than 30 different families of products available in different dimensions and variants. The warehouse stock, with 25 million parts, is steadily replenished according to the "First In – First Out" method (storage method of physical objects in which the first object introduced is the first to leave).

Differentiation and insourcing Flexibility was the main goal in Euromask®'s strategy in order to become leader in masking systems. In order to achieve this result, the strategy aimed to internalize part of the production in its facility. In fact, in 2006 the production of the entire range of hooks started, in addition to adhesives processing.

With the transfer of the Italian headquarters in Solaro, Euromask® added a re-winding machine to support adhesives process department: This decision provided more flexibility and reduced the lead times. The insourcing strategy of some production stages allowed the company to differentiate its products with an increasingly greater customization according to the specific requirements of the customers.

Euromask®, in addition to the large stock supply of standard products present in the catalog, is able to design and produce masking systems for any specific need – starting from customer's technical requirements. For example, in case of out of standard adhesives, the company can provide the sample in 3-4 days, starting directly from the customer's design; subsequently, the production takes place within 10 days from the sampling phase. Even for out of standard moulded items, timing is a point of strength for Euromask®: 15 working days for sampling; 20 working days for the production. Moreover, for out of standard custom special steel hooks, the company's technical office can ensure rapid and professional solutions for any kind of problem about hanging.

Internationalization and cost strategy After the early years of development, around 2010 the company decided to start its internationalization with a specific strategy: The direct penetration in the most relevant European and Central American markets. At the end of 2010, Beacon Way Ltd was founded in UK. The company nowadays is called Euromask Ltd, with the purpose to follow and supply Central and Northern European countries. In 2011, the expansion strategy continued: Masklogik S de RL de CV was founded in Central America, with headquarters in Lerna, Mexico. The facility has its own adhesives production department intended to supply Southern and Central America's markets. Finally, in 2012 the European expansion strategy was completed with the foundation of Masklogik S.P. z.o.o., based in Chrzanów, Poland: Located in an area with a high level of industrialization, this site represents the starting point to reach Eastern European countries.
