In the coatings industry, ABRAFATI SHOW 2025 will highlight innovations in AI-driven formulations, sustainable and eco-friendly paints, advanced raw materials, fast-curing technologies, and high-performance coatings with smart functionalities.

The 19th edition of the ABRAFATI SHOW, Latin America’s largest event for raw materials, packaging, equipment, technologies, and services for the coating industry, is set to take place from September 23–25 at São Paulo Expo (Brazil).

Organised by the Brazilian Association of Coat Manufacturers (Abrafati) and promoted by NürnbergMesse Brasil and Vincentz Network, the show will gather industry professionals, specialists, and companies to showcase innovations and solutions, as well as discuss trends, opportunities, and challenges in the coating sector.

As part of the event, the International Coat Congress will feature 90 technical presentations on emerging topics such as Artificial Intelligence applications in coatings, sustainability, nanotechnology, radiation curing, next-generation raw materials, and improvements in paint performance and functionalities. Each day will open with plenary sessions offering a broad overview of the national and international coating industry. A dedicated panel will also feature female CEOs sharing insights on leadership in the sector.

“It will be a very special edition, as it will take place with Brazil now ranking as the world’s fourth-largest paint producer, following significant growth in recent years. As such, the event, which was already highly recognized both nationally and internationally, has gained even greater strategic importance for traditional exhibitors and has also attracted new participants who see opportunities in the country,” has stated Luiz Cornacchioni, Executive President of Abrafati.

Among the highlights this year is the launch of the Indian Pavilion, a 300 m² space within the International Suppliers Exhibition showcasing innovative solutions for product manufacturing. The Chinese Pavilion has also expanded by 26% compared to the previous edition. More than 288 exhibitors have confirmed their participation, including 136 international companies. The exhibition area has grown to nearly 14,000 m², a 12% increase over the 18th edition.
