The new product from ICP Group adds traction to slippery hard surfaces without compromising the appearance of the underlying floorings.
The STAIN-PROOF® brand of ICP Group has recently announced the launch of Clear Traction, a long-lasting and easy-to-apply clear coating that adds traction to slippery hard surfaces without compromising the appearance of the underlying floorings.
Specially formulated with hard particles that rise to the top of the surface, the new product developed by the ICP Group is highly resistant to water, abrasion oils and mild acids. Its UV-stable formula is ready-to-use for one-coat applications and dries to the touch in four hours, allowing for light foot traffic within eight hours and heavy traffic after two days.
Clear Traction is then suitable for both residential and commercial buildings such as public areas, hotels patios and hospitals, as it can be applied on swimming pool surrounds, decks, stairways and bathroom, shower, garage and kitchen floors.
“Clear Traction adds texture to surfaces but in clear form, so there is minimal appearance change. Some products make patterns hazy or change their appearance, but this coating prevents stains, makes cleaning a cinch, improves grip and eliminates worry about things like muting a floor’s color and shine. Clear Traction meets ANSI Standard Test Method A326.3 for measuring the dynamic C.O.F. of hard surface flooring materials greater than 5% (slip resistance C.O.F. > 0.5).
