LANXESS has increased its prices for 1,6-hexanediol, a chemical widely used to formulate paints and coatings.
The specialty chemicals supplier LANXESS has recently announced that it is raising its prices for 1,6-hexanediol (HDO) by 500 euros per metric ton on a global scale.
The hexanediol - HDO is an important chemical precursor for paints,
coatings, adhesives, polyurethanes, polycarbonate diols and reactive diluents for epoxy resins.
