is reinforcing its commitment to the Asia-Pacific region with the rollout of an expanded portfolio of sustainable dispersant, wax additive and resin technologies. The company aims to support manufacturers of coatings to achieve ambitious environmental targets.
As part of this initiative, Lubrizol is introducing a series of new products across its core technology platforms:
- Dispersants: Lubrizol’s extensive Solsperse™ Hyperdispersants range now includes water-based, 100% active and bio-based alternatives. Ongoing innovation is geared towards providing formulators with improved performance while reducing environmental impact.
- Wax Additives: The Lanco™ Surface Modifiers line has been strengthened with PTFE-free wax additive technologies that offer robust surface protection and durability. Available in micronised, dispersed or emulsion formats, these products align with sustainability goals by removing fluorinated materials from formulations.
- Resins: Recent advancements in Lubrizol’s Carbobond™ and Hycar® Acrylic Resins portfolio
offer solutions suited to medical packaging, combining strong barrier performance with ease of processing and compliance with current regulatory standards. Meanwhile, new water-based Carboset® Acrylic Resin technologies
extend their utility beyond paints and coatings, enabling more sustainable options for food and packaging applications. Additionally, Aptalon™ Polyamide Polyurethanes—renewable, water-based dispersions—deliver significant performance enhancements while contributing to sustainability objectives.
