Sun Chemical has made the new Lumina® Royal Sparkling Blue pigment available on its PigmentViewer app.
Sun Chemical continues to expand its digital colour library on the PigmentViewer app. Lumina® Royal Sparkling Blue is the new pigment that has joined the Lumina® Royal family of products, included in the complete colour library of the app.
Lumina® Royal Sparkling Blue is a high chroma, blue-shade effect pigment with intense colour.
The PigmentViewer app is based on virtual renderings that capture the full potential of a pigment's appearance, allowing the designer to evaluate the "panel" of colour in a digital format. In this case the “panel” is replaced by the smartphone or tablet display.
Colour can be viewed from different angles. The viewer only needs to treat the device as if it were a conventional panel or sample and, with a smooth motion, the application of the digital pigment creates a colour travel as would be observed in a real physical environment.
In addition to viewing individual effect pigments, the PigmentViewer app also offers the ability to compare two pigments side by side on a single screen.
The effect pigment can be used to create new vibrant colours and styling options in all colour throughout the aqua to violet colour areas. In addition, it provides a strong shine to achieve an attractive and eye-catching appearance and is suitable for many applications, including automotive, industrial and packaging.
