Hempel Appoints New Chief People & Culture Officer to Executive Management Team

Anne-Christine Ahrenkiel will contribute her expertise to support Hempel's global growth in the paints and coatings market.

Hempel has announced the appointment of Anne-Christine Ahrenkiel as its new Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO) and Executive Vice-President, People & Culture. She will officially join the company’s Executive Group Management on 1st July 2025.

Anne-Christine Ahrenkiel brings with her a wealth of experience across all areas of human resources and organisational development. She joins Hempel from DFDS, Northern Europe's largest integrated shipping and logistics company, where she has served as Executive Vice-President and Chief People Officer. Over her career, Anne-Christine has held senior HR and leadership positions in both the public and private sectors, including at renowned organisations such as A.P. Moller-Maersk, Accenture, NNIT, and Nordic media group Egmont.
