Visitors to Booth #D40111 will see how the AkzoNobel’s Interpon range is helping industries optimise operations, enhance efficiency and advance their sustainability objectives.
The paints and coatings supplier AkzoNobel
is set to showcase its latest powder coating technologies at FABTECH
USA, one of North America’s largest exhibitions for metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing. The company continues to expand the scope of its Interpon powder coatings, focusing not only on new product developments but also on improving application methods.
Among the highlights is Flightpath Pro, a state-of-the-art software solution developed in collaboration with coatingAI. Designed to help customers fine-tune their application settings, the tool provides greater precision and control. At the event, AkzoNobel will demonstrate how Flightpath Pro can streamline processes, reduce waste and deliver consistent, high-quality finishes—boosting productivity and providing a clear competitive edge.
Sustainability remains a central theme. Interpon’s low cure powder coatings are engineered to reduce oven temperatures, cutting energy use and lowering overall coating process costs, while maintaining performance standards.
For customers requiring corrosion protection, Interpon Redox PZ, a zinc-rich primer, will be on display. Offering market-leading performance on blasted steel, it extends product life, reduces maintenance and replacement needs, and minimises environmental impact.
Also featured is Interpon 810, a superdurable, TGIC-free powder coating
that is now UL certified for outdoor electrical enclosures. Available in 106 colours, it provides robust corrosion protection and long-lasting performance in demanding environments.
Coaters will also benefit from the Interpon Ready to Ship (RTS) portfolio, which offers more than 400 colours and technologies with delivery in just two days. Designed for speed and flexibility, RTS helps coaters respond rapidly to shifting customer requirements, cutting lead times and easing inventory pressures—essential for remaining competitive in today’s fast-paced marketplace.
“We’re excited to take part in FABTECH and showcase how our innovative powder coating solutions are helping manufacturers and coaters across North America meet the demands of today’s market. From faster turnaround times to improved sustainability and application efficiency, our technologies are built to support customers striving to improve performance in an increasingly competitive environment,” has stated Baron Schreuder, Commercial Director for North America, AkzoNobel Powder Coatings.
