Revealed at Portland International Airport, the livery features AkzoNobel’s durable and vibrant Aerodur BCCC system, applied in 19 custom colours for lasting protection and a striking finish.

Aerospace Coatings has once again teamed up with IAC Spokane to bring a magical Disney-themed aircraft to life for Alaska Airlines. The newly revealed Boeing 737-800, named Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer, was inspired by The Princess and the Frog and celebrates the airline’s ongoing partnership with Disneyland Resort.
“The IAC team has delivered another striking livery which not only beautifully promotes the immersive Tiana’s Bayou Adventure experience at Disneyland but also shows Alaska Airline’s commitment to create remarkable journeys with another wonder in our skies. This has been another joyful project for us to work on. Over a period of 24 days and more than 2,000 labour hours, the team at IAC Spokane meticulously painted the aircraft. The design features Princess Tiana prominently along the fuselage, joined by whimsical illustrations including Louis the alligator amidst water lilies and a glowing trail of fireflies stretching from nose to tail. Mama Odie and Prince Naveen adorn the winglets, further enhancing the aircraft’s magical charm.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer (registration N596AS) embarked on its inaugural flight to Santa Ana (California, United States) following its public unveiling. The launch coincides with the forthcoming opening of the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction at Disneyland Park. This latest addition joins a fleet of Disney-themed aircraft operated by Alaska Airlines, including Mickey’s Toontown Express (N565AS), Star Wars Transport to the Disneyland Resort (N538AS), and Friendship and Beyond at Disneyland Resort (N537AS). All four liveries were brought to life by IAC and feature AkzoNobel’s industry-leading aerospace coatings.
