Jotun’s participation marks another chapter in its six-decade legacy of partnership with Nor-Shipping, an exhibition it has supported since its inception.

is set to reaffirm its longstanding presence and commitment to sustainable shipping at this year’s Nor-Shipping
exhibition, taking place from 3rd to 6th June. The company will unveil new technological advancements designed to support a cleaner, more efficient shipping industry.

This event provides an excellent platform for us to connect with industry leaders and share our latest advancements in marine coatings and hull performance. 14 years ago, we defined what the industry today knows to be the hull performance category, when we launched HPS. This year, we are excited to present what we believe will be pivotal in the years to come when the industry seeks to optimise hull performance,” has stated Jessica Doyle, Global Sales Director for Shipping at Jotun.
Building on its trailblazing legacy—marked notably by the 2011 launch of its Hull Performance Solutions (HPS), which shifted the industry's focus to hull performance—Jotun continues to push boundaries. At Nor-Shipping 2025, the company will present a major new global report on biofouling management, offering critical insights into its impact and the industry's current practices in tackling this persistent challenge.
As part of its Clean Shipping Commitment, Jotun has achieved a significant milestone in sustainability. Recently verified by DNV, the company helped its customers avoid an estimated 11.1 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions in 2024 alone, equating to around 2 billion USD in fuel savings. These figures underline Jotun’s drive to help the maritime industry cut emissions, improve fuel efficiency, and protect marine biodiversity.
