Rik Mertens from Datacolor Will Present Latest Advancements in Cloud Technology at ECS

During the European Coatings Show 2023, Rik Mertens from Datacolor will hold a speech on the role of cloud technology.

Datacolor has recently announced that Rik Mertens – an expert in the field of colours and coatings technology serving as the Global Applications Product Manager of the company – will be hosted as a conference speaker at the European Coatings Show, the trade fair dedicated to the global paints and coatings industry that will take place from 28^th to 30^th March 2023 in Nuremberg (Germany).

The session will be held from 03:30 to 04:00 p.m. on Tuesday 28^th March and will provide attendees with insights on the latest advancements in colour technology. More specifically, the presentation will focus on the role of Cloud technology and how it can streamline communication and analytics reporting between paint labs and the point of sale in retail locations for data-driven production as well as provide a better customer experience.

As a matter of fact, the implementation of Cloud-based apps allows paint manufacturers to increase speed to market, reduce strain on IT departments, easily manage warehouse stock, collect and analyse sales data and provide a better ecommerce and/or in-store experience.
