Sun Chemical will present several different solutions for the paints and coatings industry at the next edition of the ABRAFATI show.

The international pigment manufacturer Sun Chemical has recently announced that it will showcase colour materials, polymers, additives and adhesives specifically developed for the coatings industry during the ABRAFATI Show 2023, the trade fair dedicated to the Latin American paints and coatings sector that will take place from 21st to 23rd November 2023 at the Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre in São Paulo (Brazil).

At booth B87, the company will present its digital tool Pigment Finder, a database including the colour materials portfolio and enabling technical comparisons and the export of customised catalogues, and the PigmentViewer app, which allows customers to experience, review and compare pigments and coatings samples on their smart devices.

The visitors of the event will also have the opportunity to discover the Sicopal® inorganic and Paliotan® hybrid pigments, that combine high chroma with weather fastness, as well as the the Paliotan® VIU range – particularly suitable for economically challenging applications such as lead chromate replacement – and the newly launched Lumina® HD effect pigments series, based on fine fraction synthetic mica.

Furthermore, Sun Chemical will highlight its Sicopal, Xfast® and Spectrasense® functional black pigments for solar heat management, the elaborate portfolio of polymers and additives for coatings and adhesives for the automotive, architecture, household, E&E and packaging sectors and the recently launched its HYDRAN GP series of environment-friendly waterborne polyurethane resins.

“As the biggest coatings event in Latin America, ABRAFATI is a significant place for Sun Chemical and we look forward to demonstrating how our colour materials, polymers, additives and adhesives enable excellent results within any coatings application,” has stated Elisangela Silva, the sales director of Sun Chemical for colour materials in Latin America.
