The next edition of parts2clean, the world’s leading trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning, will take place at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre (Germany) from 7th to 9th October 2025.

The 21st edition of parts2clean will showcase innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions for industrial parts and surface cleaning. It will focus on integrating cleanliness throughout the entire production process to meet the increasingly strict requirements of high-tech sectors. The trade fair will also offer expert knowledge through a bilingual forum and special exhibitions, helping manufacturers optimise processes, reduce resource consumption, and stay competitive.

Technological transformation is prompting many companies to reposition themselves, placing greater emphasis on the production of high-value, precision components for cutting-edge industries such as aerospace, medical and pharmaceutical technology, sensor systems, new mobility, electronics, microsystems technology, vacuum and semiconductor technologies, and the defence sector. These industries—and their supply chains—require components that meet extremely stringent performance, quality, and reliability standards.

“In these industrial sectors, components have to fulfil very high demands in terms of performance, quality, and reliability. The requirements for particulate and filmic cleanliness are set correspondingly high,” has explained Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin, Project Director at Deutsche Messe AG.

Traditional end-of-line cleaning processes are no longer adequate. A cleanliness-oriented approach must begin at the design stage—cleanability is now seen as a key enabler of product value. Subsequent production stages such as additive manufacturing and coating must also be evaluated in terms of their impact on technical cleanliness.

Critical considerations include the cleanability of operating and auxiliary materials, the risk of upstream residues affecting downstream processes, and whether intermediate cleaning is necessary. The final stages—assembly, final cleaning and packaging—must factor in environmental conditions, such as the need for cleanroom facilities. To remain competitive, manufacturers must not only meet cleanliness requirements but do so in a resource- and energy-efficient manner.

Exhibitors at parts2clean 2025 will showcase tailored, forward-looking solutions across the entire spectrum of industrial cleaning. These include systems for fluid-based processes, energy-efficient drying, and dry cleaning, as well as equipment for cleaning containers and workpiece carriers. Technologies for water treatment, bath maintenance, and process monitoring will also be on display, alongside AI-driven automation and digital integration solutions aimed at improving both performance and resource efficiency.

"The exhibitors at this year's parts2clean will be presenting optimally customized and future-oriented solutions for these requirements, and this applies regardless of what the workpieces to be cleaned are made of, and whether it is deburring, pre-cleaning, intermediate or final cleaning, or a high-purity application. Thanks to the complete range and the participation of all relevant suppliers from the various segments, users of industrial cleaning technology from all sectors can obtain comprehensive information about development trends, technologies, methods and processes. This also includes the optimization of existing processes with regard to achievable cleanliness and designing them for greater resource and energy efficiency,” has added Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin.

In addition to the exhibitor offerings, the event’s supporting programme will address the most pressing challenges and innovations in parts and surface cleaning. The bilingual p2c.EXPERTFORUM will feature simultaneous German-English presentations by leading figures from research, academia, industry, and professional associations, delivering actionable knowledge and practical examples.

A particular highlight is the special exhibition Technical Cleanliness Process Chain, organised in collaboration with the Cleaning Excellence Center (CEC), which will offer pragmatic insights into cleanliness within interconnected production processes. The Fachverband industrielle Teilereinigung (FiT) will once again present its own special showcase, including informative lectures.
