PaintExpo 2022 to Take Place in Compliance with the New Covid-19 Regulations

Date: 14/03/2022

The world's leading trade fair for industrial coating technology is confirmed to take place from 26 to 29 April 2022 in Karlsruhe, following the new ordinance issued by the State of Baden Württemberg.

The current Corona Protection Ordinance issued by the State of Baden Württemberg explicitly allows trade fairs to take place. So now there is nothing to prevent a successful edition of PaintExpo, which will be held in Karlsruhe from 26 to 29 April 2022.

Over 400 exhibitors from 27 countries will showcase their technology and product innovations, covering the entire supply chain for industrial coating technology and surface coating. PaintExpo will also focus on trends in improving quality, efficiency and flexibility. Visitors will be shown practical solutions for the sustainability and digitization of their production processes.

“Thanks to the latest Covid-19 regulations issued by the state of Baden-Württemberg, which expressly permit trade fairs again, a framework is now in place for a safe and successful PaintExpo. Exhibitors will be presenting their very best services and products. Visitors can look forward to four days of high-quality contacts and inspiring innovations”, says Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe.

The health of the participants has the highest priority

Leipziger Messe will respond to the exceptional circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic by applying the “Safe Expo” hygiene concept throughout PaintExpo to ensure the highest standards of safety and hygiene for all trade show attendees.

The concept is continuously updated to meet current regulations and adapt to changing conditions due to the pandemic. Central elements of the concept are the "3G rule" (vaccinated, recovered or tested), contact tracing, social distancing and mandatory masks.
