Energy-Flexible Drying: Dürr Introduces Qflex Technology

Up to now, ovens used in automotive drying have always been designed for a specific heating method. Fluctuating energy prices, insecure supply, and ambitious CO₂ targets are increasing calls for more flexible systems. With its Qflex technology, Dürr introduces a new concept that enables a complete decoupling of all ovens from the heat source. This allows car manufacturers to use different energy sources or switch from one source to another in the future without structural changes to the oven.
