Audi Puts Partial Matting into Volume Production

Audi customers will be able to drive even more individualized cars in the future – thanks to partial matting. With the #2 special edition of the Audi Q2, the brand is now using this innovative painting process for the first time in volume production. A fine beam minimally roughens the top layer of paint and creates a matt image. In this way, lettering, logos or photos can be displayed on the painted sheet metal with pixel accuracy and abrasion resistance. Audi is the first automobile manufacturer to offer its customers this kind of individualization.

Decontaminating Soil Using Bioremediation

During oil and gas exploitation in the oil fields, pipelines and storage tanks often crack and contaminate soil as a result. Soil pollution with various oils or diesel fuel also happens during exploration and drilling of new wells. When replacing underground reservoirs at petrol stations, it is necessary to remove the soil around the reservoir. This soil is contaminated with gasoline and diesel fuels. Croatian company CorteCros part of Cortec® Corporation Group, provides environmentally safe bioremediation solutions for these issues with Bionetix products.

PaintExpo 2020 registra una gran demanda de stands

Pocos meses después de la séptima edición de la feria líder mundial del sector de las técnicas de lacado industrial, que finalizó con nuevos récords de expositores y visitantes y de internacionalidad, 304 empresas de 19 países han reservado ya su superficie expositiva para la PaintExpo de 2020. La superficie de exposición neta ocupada, de 11.536 metros cuadrados, ya es de aprox. el 74% con respecto a la anterior cita. Esto es señal de que, una vez más, la próxima PaintExpo será aún más grande.

BASF is Most Sustainable Innovation Partner for BMW
